1. Who we are
The e-book "The Welder's Forge" is produced by Academy Convert, which also provides official support. Contact: suporteforjadosoldador@gmail.com or WhatsApp.
2. What we sell
One digital product in PDF format: the e-book The Welder's Forge (English edition). There is no physical delivery, no video and no other product in this edition.
3. Price and payment
The price is shown in US dollars (USD): $12.90, a one-time payment with no subscription. Payment is processed by Hotmart, which also issues the receipt. The payment methods available for your country, and the final amount you will pay (including any currency conversion or taxes that apply), appear at checkout before you confirm. We do not collect or store your card details.
4. Delivery
Access to the e-book is sent by Hotmart to the email address you gave at checkout, after payment is confirmed. Some payment methods confirm faster than others. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and then contact us.
5. 14-day guarantee
You have 14 days from the purchase to ask for a full refund, with no need to give a reason, even if you have already downloaded the PDF. You can make the request through Hotmart or by emailing us, and the refund follows the procedures of Hotmart and of the payment method you used. This guarantee is in addition to any rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
6. Copyright and personal-use license
All the content is protected by copyright. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the PDF for your own use. You may not copy, distribute, resell or share the file, in whole or in part, without written permission.
7. Nature of the content
The e-book is educational and informational material. The values in the tables are starting points: always confirm the recommendations of the machine and consumable makers, the welding procedure specification (WPS) of your job and the codes that apply. The content does not replace supervised, hands-on training. It is not a promise of a job, of a qualification or of any financial result, and what you get from it depends on your practice, your training and your situation.
8. Safety and responsibility
Welding involves real risks: arc radiation, fumes, electricity, fire, compressed gas and hot parts. Always wear the right PPE and follow the safety rules that apply to you (for example, ANSI Z49.1 and OSHA rules in the United States, or the equivalent where you live). Do not weld safety-critical parts, such as brake lines, fuel tanks, suspension or seat-belt anchors, unless you are qualified to do so. Within the limits the law allows, we are not responsible for damage that results from misuse of the information.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived. Before any formal complaint, talk to us: we want to fix it.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page; purchases already made follow the terms in force on the date of purchase.
